About Me

Jason Bias is a husband, a proud father of three, and a committed advocate for faith, family, and freedom. A lifelong Coloradan, Jason has always believed in the strength of community and the importance of standing up for conservative values. While studying political science at Colorado Mesa University, he served as President of Turning Point USA, where he successfully revived the local chapter. His leadership created a much-needed platform for young conservatives to speak out, organize, and engage in civil discourse on campus.

In addition to his campus involvement, Jason served as the 1st Vice Chairman of the Mesa County Republican Party. During his time in that role, he brought youth to the local party and helped with reintroducing monthly meetings with guest speakers, encouraging civic engagement, and fostering grassroots energy throughout the region.

Jason’s priorities are rooted in the values that built this country — faith in God, the strength of the family unit, and the protection of individual freedoms. When he's not involved in local politics or community efforts, you’ll likely find him exploring Colorado’s great outdoors with his wife and kids. “We live in the most beautiful state in the country,” Jason says. “We need to protect and conserve our public lands so we can continue to enjoy the outdoors! No one knows conservation better than those who fish and hunt in Western Colorado, so let's give them the responsibility to do so; not the government!"

As a young father, a dedicated husband, and an active member of the community, Jason knows what challenges everyday families are facing — and he’s committed to finding real, local solutions that preserve the Colorado way of life for generations to come.

Jason is proud to have brought Turning Point USA to the Western Slope, creating a movement that empowers young conservatives to stand up for faith, freedom, and the Constitution. In a time when rural voices are too often overlooked, these TPUSA chapters have become strongholds for free speech and leadership development — giving students the tools and confidence to defend our values in an increasingly one-sided academic culture. This achievement isn’t just about starting clubs; it’s about building the future of conservative leadership right here in rural Colorado. Now, Jason is equipped and ready to take that same bold energy to public office — because we don’t just talk about change, we make it happen.

Jason is a proud American who cares deeply about this country and the values it was built on. He is a strong supporter of the U.S. Constitution and believes in protecting our freedoms, promoting personal responsibility, and keeping government small and accountable. He stands firm in defending faith, family, and the principles that make America great.

Jason has a strong interest in history and enjoys learning about local events, landmarks, and the Wild West. He believes that understanding our past is key to protecting our future.

Rural Colorado and House District 54 are rich with historical western sites and a smell of fresh air. Jason believes these places are important reminders of our shared heritage and serve as great resources for teaching the next generation about conservative values, hard work, and freedom.
